Overview

  • Hybrid (onsite 1-2 shifts per week; remainder of weekly hours will be remote)

Human Resources Assistant: This position will be responsible for assisting the Human Resources Department in various areas, primarily in the Onboarding of new staff, with data entry, and in some recruiting workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Assists newly hired employees through the onboarding process, starting at the offer stage and up to/including New Employee Orientation (NEO).
  • Conducts periodic follow-up calls to guide new employees through the necessary onboarding tasks following the acceptance of employment.
  • Provides technical assistance to new-hires in navigating the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in the completion of onboarding tasks.
  • Maintains list of outstanding onboarding tasks and/or documents; apprises HR Team and hiring managers, as needed.
  • Updates and maintains various databases.
  • Enters employee payroll information into online system, as necessary.
  • Assists new-hires in the Fingerprint Clearance Card application process, as needed.
  • Attends NEO and collects any outstanding personnel documents from new-hires.
  • NEO: Scan documents into the personnel file. Assists with other NEO duties, as assigned.
  • Monitors and updates data in appropriate databases.
  • Performs other related Human Resources duties, as assigned.
  • Assists in some recruiting duties, as needed; these may include attendance at job fairs, ATS review, reposting of positions, and calls requesting additional information.

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED
  • Notable Human Resources experience preferred
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System preferred, especially ICIMS, ADP, or similar.
  • Positive attitude and strong communications skills
  • Critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
  • Bilingual (English-Spanish) a plus
  • Ability to obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card
