** PART TIME POSITION - 20 HOURS PER WEEK **
Under the supervision of the Director, Shelter Without Walls and in conformance with acceptable social work practice and the agency’s program definition and policies, the Domestic Violence Advocate provides guidance, domestic violence education, safety planning, advocacy, case management, supportive counseling, phone consultation and resource linkage and referral to victims and survivors of domestic violence. The Domestic Violence Advocate also represents JFCS and Shelter Without Walls to the community and helps build and maintain a partnership with community agencies.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Ability to be flexible as specific tasks will change.
