The Team Lead position will train new staff, and serve as point person for procedural questions pertaining to a specific program in Behavioral Health.  Duties include, but are not limited to, trouble shooting NextGen and helping clinical staff navigate the system,  addressing questions about Single Case Agreements, Additional Services Requests, High Needs Case Managers, Flex funds requests etc.  The team lead will work closely with his/her direct supervisor to help the team maintain clinical best practices and integrity, while providing services to clients in a timely manner.  Administrative duties of this position include unlocking visits in NextGen.  The team lead will continue to function in their role as therapist and will maintain a case load to provide individual, family, or group therapy as clinically indicated.

  • Provides individual, family or group therapy for JFCS Behavioral Health Services as clinically indicated.
  • Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Manager, Co-Director or Director, trains new staff and serves as point person for procedural questions related to a specific program and provide support to clinical staff.
  • Assists Clinical Manager with supervision and training clinicians who require weekly supervision of a licensed clinician.
  • Collaborates with and maintains relationships with sister Behavioral Health Agencies, to ensure clinically appropriate and timely service provision.
  • Documents progress on assigned cases and assists Clinical Manager, Co-Director or Director with assessing the support needs of clinical staff.



  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related field.
  • 2 to 4 years’ experience as a direct service provider in a Behavioral Health setting.
  • Licensure required or Working towards an Independent Licensure.
