Jewish Family and Children’s Service makes a difference in the lives of victims of domestic violence. We understand that domestic violence is a pattern of behavior in relationships based upon power and control. Victims of domestic violence can emerge from any race, age, sexual orientation, religion, economic class and gender. You can help end this threat to our communities!
We are currently searching for a Bi-lingual Family Therapist to assist victims of domestic violence with recovery from traumatic and unhealthy relationships. In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the behavioral health of abused individuals. The Family Therapist will conduct mental health and trauma assessments, assist with therapeutic and behavioral health planning, and provide direct services to victims of domestic violence.
The ideal candidate will be Bi-lingual, possess a Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, behavioral health, or related field, and 2 years of experience. If you have a passion as a change agent we welcome you at Jewish Family and Children’s service. This position is located in our Shelter Without Walls Program in Central Phoenix on 7th Street.
