Overview

Jewish Family & Children’s Service is seeking a full time Therapist for the SW Valley. The responsibilities include direct therapy services to clients in their homes, review of cases, assessment and evaluation of client needs. Renders services delivered to clients and families using formal and informal resources tailored to the client’s needs. Decide, if appropriate, on a referral source for the client, and interpret for the client the reason for the referral. Set case objectives which are reviewed and evaluated at specific intervals.  The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree of Social Work, Counseling, and/or similar field of study.  Flexible schedule. Travel is required in this position.

 

  

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Receive cases and assess & evaluates client needs.  Services tailored to the family, stability and timeliness.
  • Set treatment goals, with the client, which are reviewed and evaluated at specific intervals.
  • Work independently on specific assignments under the direction of the Vice President of Older Adults.

 

Qualifications

A Master’s of Social Work, Counseling, and/or similar field of study degree from an accredited school. Licensure required.
