  • Overview

    Provide clinical oversight and supervision of direct therapy and case management services including intake and assessment to clients and families. CFT facilitation, discharge planning and coordination with other agencies. Perform administrative tasks in accordance with agency procedures.

    • Provides ongoing clinical supervision to foster a solution/strengths based orientation to assist staff in effectively addressing the client and family’s ongoing needs. Supervises and assists staff in using formal and informal resources for the client including client transition, discharge and aftercare plans of behavioral health services and demonstrates a positive, strengths based attitude of teamwork and shared leadership.
    • Provides services and supervises the duties of Clinicians, developing programs directed at expanding the continuum of services in collaboration with clinical team members. Provides clinical collaboration and assists clinical staff to coordinate services with other involved agencies, such as Department of Child Safety, Probation and Parole Departments, Division of Developmental Disabilities, Arizona Long Term Care, schools and other providers.
    • Works with the treatment and management teams in implementing agency policies and procedures, acquaints the agency with community trends, identifies gaps in services and works with special projects and committees to better meet the client’s needs. Uses the consultation and collaborative team processes in providing coordination of care for clients and to improve operational processes in the site/agency. Participates in assigned JFCS and job-related committees (BH Matrix; Training; Substance Abuse; Utilization Management; Safety, MIS/NextGen Computer and Risk Management).


    PhD and/or Master's Degree from an accredited school in the field of social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or related behavioral health field.


    • Independent Licensure required.
    • 3 years’ work experience in behavioral health field post Master’s.
    • Ability to provide clinical supervision of clinical staff towards independent licensure in accordance with BBHE requirements.
    • Must be eligible to be Credentialed & Privileged at a BHP level by the RBHA or relevant licensing board.
    • Ability to maintain licensing and DPS fingerprint clearance.

    Management experience required.
